Vietnam Tourism Authority in Korea, NAPAS and ‘Tourism Pay’ Promotion Business Agreement Ceremony

On the 28th of last month, the representative office of the Vietnam Tourism Organization in Korea signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vietnam’s state-run payment relay network operator NAPAS on tourism payment cooperation to promote tourism between Korea and Vietnam.

NAPAS is a state-run payment intermediary network operator affiliated with the Central Bank of Vietnam. It issues NAPAS brand cards with 54 Vietnamese banks and foreign banks as members and has about 100 million members. In addition, we provide various on/offline payment services through 40 payment partners.

The core of this agreement is to serve as a bridge to create an environment in which the tourism industries of both Korea and Vietnam grow together.

KONDOL Co., Ltd. has played a role as a catalyst for the tourism pay business, such as development and operation of the tourism pay service, formation and recruitment of the consortium, along with supervising the business agreement ceremony. The overall business will be carried out by KONDOL Tech, a subsidiary in Vietnam.
